Medal of Honor Grove

1601 Valley Forge Rd
Phoenixville, PA 19460
United States

The Medal of Honor Grove commemorates those that received the United States’ highest military decoration for acts of valor in combat. This grove, with over 42 acres of natural woodland, is sectioned into areas for each of the 50 states, plus Puerto Rice and the District of Columbia. Each section has a seven-foot obelisk that bears the recipients’ names from that place. The grove also has a monument erected by the Ancient Order of Hibernians for the more than 150 recipients who were not citizens but fought for the United States and a monument for the nine chaplains who received the award.

The Friends of the Medal of Honor Grove currently maintain the grove.
